  • Manuscripts submitted to JSSH must be devoid of any identifying information about the authors or their affiliated institutions to ensure a fair and unbiased review process.
  • A separate title page should be provided, containing the authors' details, institutional affiliations, acknowledgments, potential conflicts of interest, and the specific contributions of each author.
  • Authors must certify that the research work they are submitting for publication is entirely original and has not been previously published or submitted for consideration elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts should range from 4,000 to 6,000 words, formatted in Microsoft Word, using 1.15-line spacing, and adhering to A4 paper size. Submissions should be made through the journal's online submission portal.
  • A structured abstract of 200 to 250 words should be included, summarizing the theoretical background, research objectives, methodological approach, key findings, and the study's contributions. The abstract should be self-contained and free of citations.
  • Articles must conform to the standard formatting guidelines, and all citations should adhere to the APA 7th edition referencing style.
  • A properly formatted reference list in APA style must be provided at the end of the manuscript.
  • Each article is limited to a maximum of three contributing authors.
  • Original illustrations, figures, and tables should be submitted in a print-ready format. Each visual element should be clearly numbered, accompanied by the author's name and the article's title. Tables must be legible, appropriately labeled, and include the source attribution at the bottom.
  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo rigorous plagiarism checks using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin/iThenticate) before being sent for blind peer review. A maximum similarity index of 20% is permitted.
  • The Editor/Editorial team will initially assess each manuscript's suitability for the journal's scope. Accepted manuscripts will then proceed to a double-blind peer-review process, where the authors' identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa. Reviewers' feedback will be communicated to the corresponding author, who will be given an opportunity to address any necessary revisions and resubmit the revised work.
  • The Editor/Editorial Board reserves the right to edit manuscripts, make necessary modifications, request revisions, or reject submissions based on their discretion and the review process outcomes.
  • Once a research paper has undergone the review process, it cannot be withdrawn unless the Editor/Editorial Board grants explicit permission upon the authors' request in exceptional circumstances.
  • Authors retain the copyright for articles published in the JSSH journal.

Authors are required to provide details of each author's contributions on the separate title page and submit a signed Author Agreement Statement, indicating their consent for publication.
